Remes Cup

The Remes Cup was an international youth soccer tournament that took place every August in the small Polish town of Opalenica near Poznan until 2010 .

The tournament, in which between 4,000 and 5,000 young football players between the ages of 10 and 18 have participated in recent years, was sponsored by the Remes company and FIFA . It was considered the largest youth football tournament in Poland.

The guests of honor at this competition included Lukas Podolski (2008) and Tomasz Kuszczak (2009).

The Remes Cup was accompanied by a variety of cultural events.
