René Alain
René Alain (born August 7, 1921 in Tuque , † February 1, 1968 in Montreal ) was a Canadian accordionist.
Alain worked for a long time with Isidore Soucy , first in the Trio Soucy (with Fernando Soucy ), later with La famille Soucy . He also recorded with Aldor Morin ("oncle Adhémard") together. He shaped a whole generation of accordionists, the most famous of which is Philippe Bruneau . In addition to a series of (45 and 78) singles, 7 LPs Alains were released.
