René Altmann
René Altmann (born July 9, 1929 in Lucerne ; † April 3, 1978 in Vienna ) was an Austrian poet .
Life
Altmann came to Vienna in 1941. He worked as a commercial clerk and in the Ministry of Social Administration. His texts were influenced by the Viennese avant-garde and were published in literary magazines from the 1950s.
