René Bach Madsen (born March 7, 1985 in Struer , Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player and current coach . The left backcourt player was active in the Bundesliga for GWD Minden .

Career

Bach Madsen played for Team Tvis Holstebro in Denmark until 2007 . Then he moved to the Spanish league ASOBAL to CB Torrevieja . After two years he joined the German Bundesliga club GWD Minden. In the first year he was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with Minden . The recovery did not succeed due to a defeat in the promotion games against TV Hüttenberg and he went back to Denmark to Viborg HK . In 2013 he moved to Norway to ØIF Arendal , where he ended his career in 2014 at the age of 29.

Then he became the coach of the 2nd team of Team Tvis Holstebro and celebrated a short comeback as a player in the 1st team.

Bach Madsen made his debut on June 3, 2006 against the Netherlands for the Danish national team . In total, he completed four international matches in which he scored three goals.
