René Ninety

René Neunzig (born April 20,  1976 in Cologne ) is a former German football player .

career

Ninety began playing football in 1989, in the men's division he wore the Cologne Crocodiles shirt from 1995 to the end of 2003 and became German champions with the Cologne team in 2000. In the spring of 2000, the 1.90 meter tall linebacker also played for Berlin Thunder in the NFL Europe .

As a trainer, Neunzig worked for the Cologne Falcons from the 2008 season and held the position of defense coordinator, in 2010 he was promoted to head coach of the second division. In the second half of 2011 he was in the United States and was part of the Florida coaching staff at Jupiter High School. Subsequently, Neunzig worked for the Cologne Crocodiles in the youth division and in the 2013 and 2014 seasons for the men (trainer of the linebackers). From 2014 to 2017, Neunzig, who became a widower in 2014, ran a restaurant in Cologne. In the 2019 season he worked as an assistant coach at the second division Solingen Paladins . In autumn 2019, Ninety became an assistant coach for the Tunisian national team , where he was responsible for defense.
