Pascal first learned the profession of hairdresser, got contacts in the music scene and worked mainly as a disc jockey in discos in the Ruhr area. The German Schlager was particularly close to his heart, and so he covered the title Rot was your mouth from singer Bobby Solo . This production was accepted by WDR and other radio stations. In the following years he released more singles. In 1990 he sang a song for the 500th anniversary of the Deutsche Bundespost with Ich schenke Dir ein Rotes Telefon . In 1993 he opened his own restaurant in Essen , the "Drehscheibe" in Essen-Rüttenscheid . Before that he ran the “Oldtimer” pub in Essen's southern district.
At the beginning of the 1990s, a collaboration began with the composer and producer Tex Schultzieg , who had previously enjoyed success with hits such as Adios amor or The Fishermen of San Juan . Pascal achieved his greatest success so far with Lady Blue and he also appeared on television with the title. With Schultzsieg, Pascal produced two follow-up singles ( When I'm with you again and The sweet life ).
Appearances on broadcasters and in shows of all kinds followed and Pascal landed repeatedly successes, such as B. Wanted and found (1997), I didn't see the tears (1998), My name is Pascal (1999), Der Internet-Song (2000), Teufel Luise (2001) and weekend in the bar (2002) .
In 2003 appeared under the self-deprecating title Man calls me only the Schlagergott his successful titles on a CD. In 2006 he celebrated his 20th stage anniversary with a new album and performances in and around Essen.
