Jean Justin René Thomas (born August 20, 1865 in Breux-sur-Avre ; † unknown) was a French sports marksman .
successes
René Thomas participated in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 in five disciplines. In the three-position fight he reached third place with Achille Paroche , Léon Moreaux , Maurice Lecoq and Auguste Cavadini and thus won the bronze medal. In the individual disciplines he was ranked 26th in the three-position fight, 27th in the kneeling position, 24th in the standing position and 19th in the lying position. The competitions also functioned as world championships .
