Renée Louise Björling (born July 10, 1898 in Lovö , † March 4, 1975 in Täby ) was a Swedish actress .

Life

Renée Louise Björling was the daughter of the actress Manda Björling (1876–1960). Her half-sister was the opera singer Sigurd Björling (1907-1983). She made her theater debut in 1909 and studied acting at the Dramatens elevskola from 1915 to 1917 . She then played at several theaters, including the Nya Teatern , the Lorensbergsteatern and the Royal Dramatic Theater . She made her debut as a film actress in 1912 with Fadren . She was last seen in a film role in 1968.

From 1925 to 1932 she was married to Gunnar Ursell. They had a daughter together. Her granddaughter is the opera singer Malena Ernman .
