Renate Düttmann-Braun (born July 24, 1944 in Münster ) is a German politician of the CDU .

education and profession

Renate Düttmann-Braun graduated from high school in 1964. She studied economics in 1964 and from 1966 to 1968 at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , and from 1964 to 1966 at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . In October 1968 she received her diploma in economics. In November 1975 she received her doctorate in Dr. rer. pole. From December 1968 to March 1972 she was a research assistant at the Rhine-Westphalian Institute for Economic Research in Essen. Since April 1972 she has been employed at various institutes at the University of Münster. Here she became an academic councilor in August 1976.

politics

Renate Düttmann-Braun has been a member of the CDU since 1979. She has been a member of the board of the CDU district association of Münster since 1995. Since November 1998 she has been deputy chairwoman of the CDU district association Münsterland. Düttmann-Braun was a member of the Münster City Council from 1989 to 1999. She was a member of the Münster-West district council from 1984 to 1989.

Renate Düttmann-Braun was a directly elected member of the 12th and 13th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia from 1995 to 2005 .
