Renate Seeliger
Renate Seeliger (born June 29, 1922 in Vienna ; † June 14, 2008 there ) was an Austrian writer and poet .
As a child, Renate Seeliger moved with her parents to Sattledt in Upper Austria . Her father then worked in a law firm in nearby Wels . She dealt with this phase of life in her book "House of Refuge" from 1956, where Sattledt appears as "Rannedt". She later moved back to Vienna .
Seeliger also became known for her social commitment (SOS Children's Villages, peace movement). Renate Seeliger's daughter is the artist Eva Meloun .
