Company history
Shenyang Jinbei Passenger Vehicle Manufacturing was established in Shenyang in 1991 . A source specifies July 19, 1991. In the same year, the production of automobiles under license from Toyota began . The brand name is Jinbei .
At times the China FAW Group held shares in the company. In 2001, Brilliance China Automotive Holdings acquired shares in FAW and renamed it Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile .
An agreement was reached with Renault at the end of 2017 . Renault has held 49% of the shares in the company since January 2018. The new company name is Renault Brilliance Jinbei Automotive . The company names December 15, 2017 as the date of foundation.
vehicles
The range includes vans and minibuses from the Jinbei brand . The Huasong brand only existed between 2015 and 2020.
