Renée Soutendijk ([ ˈsʌutəndɛik ]; born May 21, 1957 in The Hague ), born Renette Pauline Soutendijk , is a Dutch actress .

Life

Renée Soutendijk studied singing, dance and acting. In the early 1980s she was Paul Verhoeven's preferred film actress in the films Spetters - tough and romantic (1980) and The Fourth Man (1983). After a few other films such as Abwärts (1984), she has played mainly in the theater and in German TV productions since the 1990s. In 1999 she was awarded the Adolf Grimme Prize for the leading role in Connie Walther's television film Hauptsache Leben .

Renée Soutendijk is married and has two children.
