Reni Erkens
Reni Erkens (born June 24, 1909 in Oberhausen ; † October 22, 1987 in Nordhorn ) was German champion in freestyle swimming over 100 m and in 1929 over 400 m from 1926 to 1930. She was a participant in the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam and was fourth in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay. She was married to Ernst Küppers , their son is Ernst-Joachim Küppers .
