Renzo Casali

Renzo Casali (* 1939 in Barga ; † April 8, 2010 in Milan ) was an Italian author, theater and film maker.

Life

Casali emigrated to Argentina with his parents in 1950 . From 1963 to 1968 he studied theater directing at the Charles University in Prague , then spent almost a year in Madrid, where he co-founded the Centro Drammatico , and became an author, filmmaker and theater maker.

Back in Argentina in 1969 founded Casali in Buenos Aires the work Theater Comuna di Baines and moved his work (and his Theater) later turn when he fled and 1973 before the military government to Italy after Milan went where he the film club and the Scuola Europea di Cinema e Teatro , which he is the artistic director to this day. In 1978 he appeared as an actor in a Swedish film based on his own script ; In 1990 he made the film Acrux , again in Argentina .

Casali was a passionate supporter of Inter Milan .
