Renzo López , full name Renzo López Patrón , (born April 16, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.92-meter-tall offensive player López moved to Club Atlético Rentistas on loan from Nacional Montevideo in August 2012 . For the 2013/14 season he returned to the "Bolsos". He was not used in the Primera División that season , so that he joined the city and league rivals Rentistas again in January 2014 as part of a loan for the Clausura 2014. In the remainder of the season he was on the pitch for two first division appearances (no goal) for 18 minutes. At Apertura 2014 he continued his career at Nacional Montevideo. There he was only in the squad of the reserve team playing in the Tercera División (Formativas). In the 2014/15 season he was not used in the top Uruguayan league for Nacional. At the end of January 2015, he switched to the first division team Racing on loan within Montevideo and played eight times (no goal) in the Primera División in 2015. This was followed by 15 more first division appearances (three goals) in the 2015/16 season. In mid-August 2016, he was on loan to the first division club Sud América , where he met four times in 13 league appearances in the 2016 season. In January 2017, the Spanish third division club Extremadura UD signed him on loan , for which he had played nine league games (no goal) by the end of the season. In the second half of July 2017, he moved to Plaza Colonia on loan .
