Renzo Ragazzi

Renzo Ragazzi (born August 16, 1929 in Ferrara ; † April 20, 2010 there ) was an Italian documentary filmmaker and assistant director .

Life

Ragazzi was active in the cultural scene in his hometown and in the "Cineclub Fedic" which he founded, where he made short films. At the beginning of the 1950s he became Florestano Vancini's assistant director . From 1956 he was responsible for making documentaries (including about the Po Valley and Ferrara), before turning to fiction as an assistant director for numerous filmmakers from 1960 - again, initially at Vancini and now living in Rome - and with Duccio Tessari , Luigi Comencini and numerous other directors worked together. After working as a second unit director for a television adaptation of Robinson Crusoe in 1969 his only feature film, appeared phone number Copenhagen Sex Sex Sex ( Il primo premio si chiama Irene ), one in Denmark incurred Report movie . After that he only appeared once as an assistant director for Sergio Grieco .
