The program Report is an investigation program from the Italian broadcaster RAI and is broadcast on Rai 3 . The show has been in production since 1994 and runs weekly with a winter break. The moderator is the freelance journalist Sigfrido Ranucci, and the director is Claudio Del Signore. Employees are Giovanna Boursier, Michele Buono, Giovanna Corsetti, Giorgio Fornoni, Sabrina Giannini, Bernardo Iovene, Paolo Mondani, Piero Riccardi and Stefania Rimini. Report is hailed among journalists as a symbol of freedom of the press .
During the reign of Silvio Berlusconi , the program was often caught in the crossfire of his party . Finally, through the broadcast on October 17, 2010, Report revealed Milena Gabanelli, the Italian premier's numerous real estate holdings in the islands of Antigua and Barbuda , which are well-known tax havens. In addition, Berlusconi is said to have transferred funds abroad. Thereupon the lawyers of the prime minister threatened legal action against Milena Gabanelli under pressure from the right wing chairman of the RAI Mauro Masi .
