The Reprua is a river in the Gagra Rajon in the west of the Republic of Abkhazia , which is internationally recognized by only a few countries and formally belongs to Georgia .
The river rises north of the small town of Gagra as a continuation of an underground karst river on a vertical rock face of the Arabika massif , in which the Voronya cave is also located. It is about 20 m wide and after only 27 m flows over gravel and stone into the Black Sea .
It is known as the shortest river in the world.
