Reschop Carré

The Reschop Carré is a shopping center in Hattingen-Mitte . It characterizes the south side of the old town of Hattingen. The building complex extends to the bus station, but does not include the Kaufland department store (previously Karstadt ). It has around 16,000 square meters of lettable space and a parking garage. Retail sales are estimated at around 45 million euros annually. The operator is Indigo Park .

The Weygand distillery used to be on the site . The construction and financing plans had been discussed since summer 2000. The center opened on April 2, 2009, with Saturn , H&M and C&A among the first stores , followed by the Hattingen City Library in May 2009 . In 2012, London-based asset manager Aviva Investors acquired the shopping center from the project developer Concepta.
