A resto-bar is a catering establishment that can be viewed as a hybrid of restaurant and bar .

Resto bars usually offer a large selection of food as well as drinks, so that you can go to a resto bar to eat as well as to consume alcoholic drinks. Often there are also live shows by music groups or dance performances.

At the end of the 1990s , resto bars came into fashion , in which a DJ played electronic dance music (mostly quieter house ) or lounge music .
