Reviews of Physiology, Biochemistry and Pharmacology , abbreviated Rev. Physiol. Biochem. Pharmacol. , is a scientific journal published by Springer-Verlag. The journal was founded in 1902 under the name Results of Physiology . In 1933 there was a first expansion to include results in physiology and experimental pharmacology , which was followed in 1935 by the second expansion to include results in physiology, biological chemistry and experimental pharmacology . In 1974 the name was changed to the title still valid today. Review articles from the fields of physiology, biochemistry and pharmacology are published.
