Revenge ( revenge ) is a Greek black metal - band .

history

The band was founded in 1999 by Manos and Jim when they were at school, but due to these obligations they only got seriously involved in 2004. Two years later, a guitarist, Hlias, joined and the first recordings, including the song Nail Them All , were recorded and released as a demo.

At the beginning of 2007 a second guitarist got on with Aggelos and the band recorded the EP Nail Them All , which was released as the first official sign of life on the German label Anger of Metal Records. After Jim left for personal reasons in September of the same year, he was replaced by Vaggelis (Embrace of Thorns, Necrovorous, Dead Congrecation). In 2008, work was completed on the debut album From Hell , which was released later that year on Russian label Thrash Massacre Records and Mexican label Iron, Blood & Death Corporation . In 2009 there was a split release with Witchtrap , which was released on the Greek label Alucard Records, and the exit of Vaggelis, who was replaced by his predecessor Jim, and Aggelos.

In the original line-up, the second studio album Massacre was recorded in Heaven (Evil Rising Records). However, there are no specific release details for this album in the relevant databases.
