‣ Topic overview |
The Reverse Prince Albert , also known as RPA , is a genital piercing that runs from the urethra through the upper penis wall and ends on the top of the glans penis . It can be seen as the counterpart to the Prince Albert Piercing , which is also reflected in the naming. If the wearer has both a Prince Albert piercing and a Reverse Prince Albert, this corresponds to an Apadravya .
designation
The name is derived from "Prince Albert Piercing", which in turn takes its name from Albert von Sachsen-Coburg and Gotha , who is said to have worn that piercing. The Engl. Description reverse means "opposite" and refers to the fact that the piercing runs through the top instead of (like the Prince Albert piercing) through the bottom of the glans. The alternative name Queen Victoria , the wife of Prince Albert, alludes to this connection as a counterpart to the Prince Albert piercing .
cure
The piercing has a longer prick canal than a regular Prince Albert piercing. This results in a longer healing time of two to five months.
Jewellery
A ball closure ring , a smooth segment ring (without a ball) or a barbell can be worn as jewelry . The piercing can easily be stretched.
