Revista de Antropofagia was a Brazilian literary magazine and mouthpiece of the Movimento antropofágico .

The name goes back to that of Manifesto Antropofágico by Oswald de Andrade .

She appeared in two periods (called dentição teething). 10 editions, from May 1928 to February 1929, were published by an independent editorial unit and used as a forum by the protagonists of Modernismo Brasileiro (lyrical surrealism ), the authors included: Plínio Salgado , Mário de Andrade , Jorge de Lima , Carlos Drummond de Andrade , Manuel Bandeira , Menotti Del Picchia , Murilo Mendes , Augusto Meyer and Pedro Nava The openness of the first period is shown by contrasting contributions by Oswald de Andrade and Mário de Andrade , which follow the rules of classical poetry. It is pointed out that the central theme of the primeira dentição is the stomach.

15 issues from March 17, 1929 to August 1, 1929 appeared as a literature supplement by Diários Associados , which at that time appeared as Diário de São Paulo in the editorial office of Benedito Geraldo Ferraz Gonçalves in the publishing house of Assis Chateaubriand . In the segunda dentição the right to criticize society was proclaimed.
