This Reykjarfjörður is a fjord in the West Fjords of Iceland , more precisely in Ísafjarðardjúp east of Mjóifjörður and west of Ísafjörður fjord .
Since 2008 the Djúpvegur has been running over a dam at the entrance to the fjord. Water exchange is only possible through a 60 m long bridge. Before that, the fjord had to be bypassed on the west side. To the east of the fjord there is a hotel on the Reykjanes headland.
There are three other fjords with this name in Iceland in the Westfjords .
