Feichsen is a former municipality and a place in the market town of Purgstall an der Erlauf in Lower Austria .
Feichsen is located three kilometers west of Purgstall in the valley of the Feichsen (also called Feichsenbach), which flows into the Erlauf in Purgstall . The Roman Catholic branch church Feichsen is dedicated to St. Consecrated to Nicholas. After the reforms of 1848/1849, the place was constituted as an independent municipality and was initially subordinate to the Scheibbs district and from 1868 to the Scheibbs district . Around 1970 the municipality of Feichsen was combined with the municipalities of Rogatsboden, Zehnbach, Schauboden , Petzelsdorf, Sölling and Hochrieß with Purgstall.
