Rogatsboden is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Purgstall an der Erlauf in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 63 building areas with 22,234 m² and 12 gardens on 46,164 m² in the cadastral community Rogatsboden , in 1989/1990 there were 62 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 103 and in 2009/2010 there were 84 buildings on 109 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 359 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 150 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 340 hectares and 172 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 327 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 172 hectares. The average soil climate number of Rogatsboden is 31.4 (as of 2010).
