Zehnbach is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Purgstall an der Erlauf in the Scheibbs district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 112 building areas with 45,996 m² and 47 gardens on 147,755 m² in the cadastral community of Zehnbach , in 1989/1990 there were 118 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 348 and in 2009/2010 there were 209 buildings on 395 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 417 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of 1979/1980 and 96 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 418 hectares and 94 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 400 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 95 hectares. The average soil climate of Zehnbach is 41.1 (as of 2010).
