The Rheinbrücke Albbruck – Schwaderloch , also called Steg Schwaderloch , is a pedestrian and two-wheeler bridge over the Rhine near Albbruck ( Baden-Württemberg ) and Schwaderloch ( Canton Aargau ).
It connects the Albbrucker Rheininsel , which is formed by the works channel of the former Albbruck paper mill , with the Swiss side. The bridge is very narrow and passable for pedestrians and two-wheelers from both sides.
In the middle of the bridge there is a lockable gate. There is a customs house on both sides of the Rhine that is no longer in use. There is also a Schindler bunker on the Swiss side , from which the jetty could be blown up earlier.
