The Rheinische Landesmuseum clinic is in the district of Rheydt in Mönchengladbach . It is housed in the buildings of the former Rheydter hospital at Heinrich-Pesch-Straße 41.
location
The location of the property in a park-like garden with old trees is characterized by the fact that the construction of factories and commercial facilities was prohibited or restricted in the area. The building complex was built in several construction phases. The oldest inventory includes a three-storey building with nine axes, which was built in 1884/85 and was built in brick architecture typical of the hospital building at the time . It consists of a west-east-oriented long building with a transverse structure arranged perpendicular to it in the middle three axes.
