Rhona Fetzer

Rhona Fetzer (born September 18, 1963 in Reutlingen ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Career

After completing his legal training, Fetzer initially worked as a lawyer with a position as a freelancer in a law firm . In 1992 she began her judging career. During her time as a probationary judge , she was employed as a public prosecutor and judge at the Baden-Baden regional court and at the Achern and Rastatt district courts . She received her doctorate in 1994 on the subject of State Liability for Legislative Injustice with Hartmut Maurer at the University of Konstanz . In 1995 she was appointed judge at the Baden-Baden regional court. From 1999 to 2002 she was seconded to the Federal Court of Justice to work as a research assistant. In 2003 Fetzer was appointed presiding judge at the Karlsruhe Regional Court and in 2008 a judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court .
