Rhys Gemmell

Rhys Gemmell (born March 4, 1896 in Caulfield , Victoria , Australia , † in the 20th century) was an Australian tennis player .

In 1921 Gemmell won the Australian Tennis Championships . In the final he defeated the Australian Alf Hedeman in three sets with 7: 5, 6: 1 and 6: 4. In the doubles competition he won with his partner Stanley Eaton 7: 5, 6: 3 and 6: 3 against Norman Brearley and E. Stokes .
