Ričardas Vaitiekūnas
Ričardas Vaitiekūnas (born March 7, 1953 in Alizava , Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a Lithuanian geologist and politician , from 2000 to 2003 mayor of the district of Klaipėda .
Life
From 1958 to 1962 he studied in Vainutas ( Šilutė Rajongemeinde ) and from 1962 to 1969 in Panevėžys . After graduating from high school in 1969, he completed his diploma studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Vilniaus universitetas in 1974 . From 1974 to 1978 he worked in Tschita ( Udlokan ) as head of a subdivision and from 1978 to 1982 in Panevėžys. From 1990 to 2000 he was director of AB Geonafta , from 2004 to 2005 UAB Rapsolis , from 2008 UAB Geoterma .
From 1999 he was a member of Naujoji sąjunga , from 2004 of Darbo partija .
He is married and has two children.
