Ricardo André Duarte Pires (born October 24, 1982 in Amadora , Portugal ) is a former Portuguese soccer player who last played for the Bulgarian first division club FC Chernomorets Burgas .

Career

Ricardo André's career began in the second team at Benfica Lisbon . In 2003 he moved to FC Paços de Ferreira . There he played for three years in the Primeira Liga . In 2006 he joined the Gondomar SC in the Segunda League . In the summer of 2007, the Bulgarian first division team Cherno More Varna signed him . He and his team qualified for the UEFA Cup in the 2007/08 season . In 2009, his contract was not renewed. He was without a club for six months before FC Chernomorets Burgas signed him . He stayed there until August 2011, when FC Chernomorets Burgas terminated the contract due to financial problems. He then ended his career.
