Ricardo Halac
Ricardo Halac (* 1935 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine writer and playwright. He studied at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and lived for some time in Europe in the 1960s, where he got to know Bertolt Brecht's theater . In 1975 he had to flee to Mexico because he was threatened by the Triple A. Halac made a successful debut in 1961 with his play "Soledad para cuatro"; Augusto Fernandes staged it that same year. He also took part in the Teatro Abierto in 1981 with his play Lejana tierra prometida .
