Richard (Brandenburg)
Richard († 1293 or 1294 ) was canon of Magdeburg . He belonged to the Premonstratensian Order .
Life
Richard was first mentioned in a document on October 12, 1270, when he was named Canon of Magdeburg. The chapters of Brandenburg and Leitzkau elected him after the death of Heidenreich von Brandenburg († 1291) as the new bishop of Brandenburg. But he did not accept the election. His death was likely between April 29, 1293 and January 6, 1294.
