Richard Ambronn

Richard Karl Theodor Ambronn (born May 8, 1887 in Hamburg , † November 12, 1954 in Einbeck ) was a German geophysicist.

Life

Richard Ambronn was a son of the astronomer Leopold Ambronn . He studied in Leipzig, Munich and Göttingen. In 1912 he received his doctorate from Woldemar Voigt with his thesis on the electrical conductivity of glass and rock crystal .

From 1921 he was head of ERDA AG.
