Richard Bellis

Richard Roe Bellis (born April 3, 1946 in Pasadena , California ) is an American composer and former child actor .

biography

Richard Roe Bellis made his debut at the age of five as a young actor in the war drama Jagdstaffel z. b. V . He played various roles for seven years before, after a final appearance on the television series Batman , retired from acting at the age of twelve and henceforth focused on music. Shortly after graduating from school, Bellis became music director of the musical version of the popular television series Shindig! , with which he toured the country. He then teamed up with pop singer Johnny Mathis and worked in Las Vegas for over ten years . In 1976 he moved to Los Angeles and henceforth focused on film composition. Since then, he has composed the music for films like Stephen King's Es , Halloween Twins, Now They Witch Double and Adventure on the Whitewater Ranch . He received an Emmy in 1991 for his work on Stephen King's It . In 1992 and 1994 there was a nomination for this award.

Since March 10, 1980 Bellis has been married to the musician Gloria Kaye .
