Richard Buckley

Richard Buckley (* 1948 ) is an American fashion journalist and was editor-in-chief of Vogue Hommes International magazine , which is published in English and French.

Buckley was editor-in-chief from September 1999 to February 4, 2005 and quit his job “for personal reasons” after contracting throat cancer . He was succeeded by the then deputy editor-in-chief Bruno Danto . Buckley was living in the United States and the United Kingdom at the time, while the editorial office is in Paris. He then moved to quieter Italy with Tom Ford , his partner since 1987.

According to Lars Jensen of the time , Buckley is the most famous male muse .
