Richard Driehaus

Richard Herman Driehaus (* 1942 in Chicago ) is an American entrepreneur , investor , charitable philanthropist and patron . He is the founder and chairman of the Chicago corporation, Driehaus Capital Management LLC , which has assets of over $ 12 billion.

Driehaus is known for its numerous charitable activities, especially through the Driehaus Architecture Prize for contemporary architecture, named after him . The Chicago private art collection in the Driehaus Museum is also named after him.
