Richard Einspenner

Richard Einspenner (born September 25, 1891 in Breslau , † after 1945) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SS leader .

Life

After attending elementary and secondary school, Einspenner completed a commercial apprenticeship, which he completed with the assistant test. Later he worked as a merchant in Szczecin . From 1909 to 1911 he did military service as a volunteer with the field artillery regiment "von Peucker" (1st Silesian) No. 6 in Breslau and from 1914 to 1918 participated as a soldier in the First World War, initially with the Reserve Field Artillery Regiment No. 12 , then with the Sturmabteilung Calsow and lastly as a deputy sergeant in the Reserve Field Artillery Regiment No. 239 . During the war he was slightly wounded and awarded the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd class.

During the Weimar Republic , Einspenner joined the NSDAP (membership number 139.226), for which he was a member of the Prussian state parliament from 1932 to 1933 . As a member of the SS , he was promoted to SS-Sturmführer on November 21, 1931 , to SS-Sturmhauptführer on December 6, 1931 and to SS-Standartenführer on July 22, 1932 . He was assigned to SS-Stammabteilung 9 from 1937 to 1944, commanded the 6th Mountain Artillery Regiment of the 6th SS Mountain Division "North" from October 1943 to January 1944 and took command of the SS from July 1944 to January 1945 Artillery Training and Replacement Regiment. Since June 21, 1943 he was SS-Obersturmbannführer of the reserve, since November 9, 1944 SS-Standartenführer of the reserve.

Awards

His awards during the time of National Socialism included the repeat clasps for the Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class, the Cross of Honor for Frontline Fighters and the SS Ring of Honor .
