Richard Francis Gyug

Richard Francis Gyug (* 1954 ) is an American historian.

Life

He holds a BA (Hons.) In History and Art History from Carleton University (1973–1977), an MA in Medieval Studies from the University of Toronto (1977–1978), and a License in Mediaeval Studies from the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies (1977 –1982) and the Ph.D. in Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto (1978–1984). He taught as Assistant Professor of History at Memorial University of Newfoundland (1990–1994) and Fordham University (Associate Professor of History 1994–2006 / Professor of History and Medieval Studies 2007–2017).
