Richard Geng (born August 15, 1985 in Berlin , Germany ) is a German racing cyclist .

Richard Geng drove as an amateur for the Berlin team KED Bianchi from 2004 to 2006. At the Stuttgart – Strasbourg stage race , he was third in the 2005 stage on the royal stage and finished 14th overall. In 2006 he finished eighth in the German U23 road championships.

In 2007 Geng drove his first professional year for the German Continental Team Heinz von Heiden-Focus . He took third place in the points classification of the Saxony Tour , in which he had led for two stages. He also came third in Bad Sachsa, a race in the Harz trilogy, in which he was also third in the overall standings. He finished second in Burgdorf and won the sprint jersey at “Rund um den Sachsenring”.

In 2008 he rode for the American professional team Rite Aid Pro Cycling Team pb Shebell & Shebell. At the 1.1 PCT race in Philadelphia he was represented in the leading group together with Tyler Hamilton . He won a stage in the Giro de Jersey.

In 2013, Geng became the Berlin road racing champion as a driver of the Synergy ProTraining racing community, which got its name from the Berlin performance diagnostics and training support company of the same name, of which Richard Geng is head coach.
