Richard Jackle

Richard Karl Jäckle (born February 13, 1912 in Uzwil , Switzerland; † September 24, 1990 ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

Career

Between 1926 and 1930, Jäckle completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter as well as an apprenticeship as a Linotype machine setter and then worked as a typesetter. From 1945 to 1951 he was managing director of the Oberbadische Druckerei und Verlagsanstalt GmbH.

His political career began in 1930 when he joined the SPD. Until 1932 he was chairman of the local group singing of the socialist youth workers . From 1946 to 1952 he was chairman of the SPD regional association in Baden. As a direct candidate for the constituency of Constance, he was a member of the Baden state parliament from 1947 to 1952 and was chairman of the SPD parliamentary group there from September 1948 as the successor to Friedrich Maier .

After the formation of the Southwest State, he was a member of the Constituent Assembly of Baden-Württemberg. On October 6, 1952, he resigned from his mandate. The respective state parliaments elected him in 1949 (Baden) and 1969 (Baden-Württemberg) as a member of the Federal Assembly .
