Richard Louis

Richard Louis (* 6. January 1964 ) is a retired from Barbados originating athlete . With the 4 x 400 meter relay from Barbados , he finished sixth at the 1984 Olympic Games .

In 1982 he finished fifth with the relay at the Commonwealth Games . At the Olympic Games in 1984 he retired in the 400-meter run with 46.70 seconds in the lead. The 4 x 400 meter relay with Richard Louis, David Peltier , Clyde Edwards and Elvis Forde reached the final and took sixth place, the time was also the country record in 2008. Four years later he was eliminated again in the preliminary run at the 1988 Olympic Games . With the season he ran the eleventh fastest time in the semifinals and missed the final.
