Richard Martin Georgi
Richard Martin Georgi (* 1. February 1889 in Bockau , † 1969 ) was a German teacher , cantor , poet in Erzgebirge dialect and composer .
Richard Martin Georgi became a teacher in Gornsdorf and Klingenthal after completing his training . In 1914 he moved to the city of Thum as a cantor and secondary school teacher , where he was promoted to the teaching position.
In his spare time he composed and set numerous songs to music. He also wrote several motets, sonatas, singspiels and string music.
