Richard McGregor

Richard McGregor (* 1958 in Sydney , Australia ) is an Australian journalist and author.

Life

Richard McGregor was born in Sydney, Australia. He worked as the senior policy editor, Japan correspondent and China correspondent for The Australian . He has also worked for the International Herald Tribune , the BBC and the Far Eastern Economic Review . He has worked as a journalist in Taiwan , Sydney , Canberra and Melbourne .

Since 2011 he has been the office manager for the Financial Times in Washington, DC , USA.

Richard McGregor is considered one of the best foreign journalists who has ever written about China.
