Richard Pérez (born September 23, 1973 in San Carlos ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.89 meter tall midfielder Pérez was part of the Centro Atlético Fénix team at the beginning of his career from 1998 to the end of 1999 . In 2000 he then played for an unspecified Uruguayan club. From 2001 to the end of 2003 Deportivo Maldonado was his employer. In the 2004 season he was in ranks of Defensor Sporting and played eleven games (no goal) in the Primera División . In early 2005, Pérez moved to Club Atlético Atenas . He left the club, which was based in his hometown, at the beginning of September 2006 and again joined Deportivo Maldonado from the neighboring departmental capital. Since January 2007 he has been active for the amateur club Club Atlético Libertad .
