The Richard Point is a headland in the north of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It is located 500 m southwest of North Point and forms the southern boundary of the entrance to Williams Haven .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1990 after Kenneth J. Richard, a soil biology technician who worked for the British Antarctic Survey from 1978 at Signy Station .
