Richard Saller

Richard Saller (born August 6, 1946 ) is a former soccer coach and founder of Sport-Saller .

Life

Saller completed his soccer teacher training at the German Sport University in Cologne in 1974 .

As a coach, he led the Würzburger Kickers to the championship in the Amateur League Bavaria in 1976/77 and rose with the team in the 1977/78 season in the 2nd Bundesliga South. With four wins and nine draws, the team was relegated second to last after this season. The team's most famous player in this second division season was Lothar Emmerich .

Another station of his coaching activity he then exercised at FV Lauda in the amateur league of Baden-Württemberg.

In 1972 he founded Sport-Saller . A sports goods manufacturer developed from the sports business, developing, producing and selling products for football under the brand name “Saller” . The development and production of training aids and teaching material has also been very much focused on in recent years. He is the author and editor of several training textbooks and also produced several football training films, among others, Toni Polster . In March 2008, Richard Saller started the “Character Football” project, which is about a mix of football, nutrition and character training. The website set up for this purpose offers a soccer home training program for young players aged 7 to 14.
